ABOUT
Welcome to ARCH - VISTARA
We are Architects, registered under the Council of
Architecture (COA), a statutory body established under the Architects Act, 1972.
Without this registration, we cannot practice or call ourselves Architects. The
COA ensures the protection of public interests, particularly those of clients,
by regulating the profession.
The Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) is the only
national-level voluntary organization for Architects in India. Established in
1917 as an association of Architecture students from Sir JJ School of Arts, it
evolved into the Bombay Architectural Association and was later registered as
The Indian Institute of Architects on 2nd September 1929. Affiliated with the
Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) in 1925, the IIA has grown from 158
members to over 27,000 members today.
Our mission is to:
- Encourage the study of Architecture.
- Elevate the standards of the Architectural profession.
- Promote the interests of Architects across India.
The Kalaburagi Centre of IIA, established in 2015, represents over 200 practicing
Architects from Kalaburagi, Bidar and Raichur.
